Server Rules
In-game and community rules for Global Retake.
🛑 In-Game Rules
Gameplay & Fair Play
- Zero Tolerance Cheating: No cheats, scripts, exploits, ghosting, or third-party automation tools giving an unfair advantage. Instant permanent ban.
- No Griefing: Team damage abuse, blocking, deliberate team-flashing, or throwing rounds is strictly forbidden.
- Play to Win & Finish Matches: Play competitively with the intent to win, and do not abandon ongoing matches early. (Experimenting with new strategies is fine, sabotaging your team is not).
- AFK Policy: Inactive players will be kicked to make room for active players.
Communication & Conduct
- Keep Chat Clean: Excessive mic spam, soundboards, text spam, and advertising are strictly forbidden.
- Respect Everyone: No harassment, targeted toxicity, slurs, or general abuse over voice or text chat.
- Follow Staff Instructions: Comply with staff directions immediately during live games or disputes.
🌐 Community Rules
Applies to Discord, Forums, and the Shoutbox
- Rule #1: Don't be rude!
No racism, sexism, homophobia, serious threats, general hate speech, or slurs. Casual banter is allowed, but it must remain non-hostile and stop immediately if requested by any involved party or staff member. - Rule #2: No NSFW, gore, or sexual fetish content!
Keep explicit, graphic, and illegal content out of this server entirely. - Rule #3: No Politics!
Unless directly relevant to Counter-Strike, political discussions are prohibited. Minor political jokes are fine, but extensive debates are not allowed. - Rule #4: Do not dox other people's information!
Sharing personal or private information about anyone without their consent will result in an immediate ban. - Rule #5: No Impersonation!
Do not impersonate members, players, or staff. Malicious impersonation results in a ban. Temporary jokes are permitted only if they do not cause confusion or cross lines. - Rule #6: Do not spread drama or accusations!
Keep personal drama and public accusations out of server channels. Take conflicts to private DMs or report serious issues directly to staff via tickets. - Rule #7: Primarily talk in English!
Use English in main text and voice channels so moderators can effectively manage conversations. Brief side-chats in other languages are fine, but keep public channels mostly English.
⚠️ Enforcement & Bans: Violations across any platform may result in warnings, communication restrictions, kicks, temporary cooldowns, or permanent bans depending on severity and past history.
