Appeals are handled through our Discord support flow.
How to appeal
Join the Global Retake Discord and open a support ticket or use the moderation support channel your staff team provides there. Keep your appeal short, honest, and specific.
What to include
- Your Steam profile link or Steam ID.
- The server name and approximate time of the punishment.
- The reason shown on the ban if one is listed.
- A clear explanation of why you believe the punishment should be reviewed.
- Any evidence that helps explain missing context.
What not to do
- Do not spam staff or open multiple duplicate tickets.
- Do not lie, omit important details, or try to shift blame with obvious excuses.
- Do not insult staff or argue in bad faith. That only hurts your case.
- Do not try to evade the punishment while waiting for a response.
When an appeal is unlikely to succeed
- Cheating or exploit bans with clear evidence behind them.
- Repeat offenses where the same behavior has already been addressed before.
- Appeals that provide no details, no honesty, or no reason to question the original decision.
Staff review is case-by-case. A respectful, complete appeal gives you the best chance of a fair response.
